During my time at Alabama, I served on the Avanti Orientation team with around fifty other students. This is something that I am very proud of as over 300 well qualified students from the University applied. I worked collaboratively with students from all over the country, as well as our full time professional staff to ensure that each incoming and transfer student transitioned smoothly to the University. As an Orientation Leader, I met students and families from all around the country, as well as internationally, and learning about their unique journeys to Alabama was far and beyond my favorite part of the job. In addition to this, I also learned how to represent and ultimately sell the brand that is the University of Alabama through daily face to face interaction as well as many different forms of media.
